Still here in No VA, TWO days past my planned departure! Thank goodness for the kindness and wonderful spirits of my dear friends T & R. They have opened their home and always their hearts to me and Arliss once again. I could blame them a bit (ha!) for this one extra day but I too was pouring the shots by the end of the night. I will miss them terribly once I am finally out of here so it is a treasure to spend this extra time with them.
My friend in Atlanta may be a bit upset with me though. I should have been there Sat!urday night, then Sunday night, now it won't be until Monday! I wish I had planned or thought things through better in regards to the timing. Four months away from a job have my and I seem to have forgot planning techiniques and some of my manners too.
Well I do promise to get on the road, early morning! A few days in Atlanta, if I haven't messed up too much, and visiting father to follow! Then finally NOLA!! My crazy dream will be reality. Just hoping it is a good one and not a nightmare.
